Content Advisory
At Steep, we explore stories of everyday people that shed light on some of the questions that define our humanity. Our goal is to incite important conversation that starts on stage and continues long after everyone has left the theatre. Sometimes these stories touch on issues or portray scenes that some people may find troubling or disturbing. The Steep setting is intimate and accordingly, the experience can be intense and immediate. If you would like any further detail or information about anything on this page, please contact us at 773-649-3186 or info@steeptheatre.com.
cURRENT PRODUCTIONS
Happy Days are Here (Again) is intended for adult audiences. It contains strong language, mentions of drugs and alcohol, and content about abusive relationships, and sexual relationships between adults and teenage characters.
After-Performance Resources
While we provide content advisories to help audience members prepare for potentially difficult material and decide whether to see our shows, audience members might carry the emotional weight beyond our walls. If you need assistance in processing what you have seen or feelings that have been brought up by the material, here are some resources.
